Day Trip to Lake Balaton

Although not exactly beach weather, it was still nice to get away from the city and get a brath of fresh air in Balatonfured. There is a beautiful promenade along the shore where you can enjoy the water, fresh air and the scenery. And below a friendly wine store window display. Inviting.

Any day at the beach is a good day!

My wife and I love going whenever we have the chance. Here it's the Pacific Ocean and it's about a two hour drive.

"Oremus specialise in making wines which are not too sweet. This well developed Tokaji shows wonderful concentration of fruit, honey and caramel. Fairly full bodied but not heavy, with fresh balancing acidity, off-setting the sweetness."

I think I'd like it. :D

Lake Balaton, I would want to make this travel, some friend to me spoke for this region with beautiful reasons.

To see the sea - that is a dream of my own. I lived so far inland that it is always a pleasure to come upon photos like yours today.

I will show you a bathhouse in Hot Springs, but since I didn't go inside it will simply show the building. Come see tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by my Sunday Meditation and I enjoyed you comment.
I would like to be sitting in that boat sipping a glass of wine. In my dreams... :)

I don't know where Lake Balaton is, but sounds like you had a relaxing day with no snow or rain.
