We're in the Country Now
Although it is temporary, the change is very welcome. The country air is no comparison to the city (and you should know that I'm a city fan).
Taking a break from whatever I'm doing does not mean a trip to the kitchen but rather out to the yard to see if any of the (now 4) cats are around. There were 2 cats at the house and my two - I must say they've not yet made friends but we are working on it. It is amazing to watch them. There is such total abandon to their tag games among the flowers.
Gigi had taken to dirt baths - not sure how that will work once things begin to sprout in the garden but for now she is in hog haven.
We are at the edge of town the last house on a dead-end-street with a stream running both in front of the house and in the back of the garden. A lovely sound and if that were not enough there is the view of the Guard mountain at the back.
The cross you may see on top is in memory of the many feats the devil rider (affectionately referred to as the Ordog Lovas) had accomplished in his dare devil lifetime. Among some of the things he is credited with was riding down the side of the mountain in a coach. (Never mind him, what of the horses?*)
The end of the day brings peaceful rest to the two frolicking fur balls. Come back and visit us again. I would like to return to posting during the next week - then it is off to vacation (Italy and the USA) for 6 weeks. Look forward to visiting with all of you again soon.
* at the third page of this link he is seen on a sketch as he is riding down a stone quary: http://epa.oszk.hu/00000/00030/00622/pdf/00622.pdf

Hi there Isadora, that seems a very calm and relaxing place to live.
I'm almost certain we shall be pretty soon being great photos from the surroundings.
It will be a nice change of pace for you Isadora - the cats for sure will love it. Sounds like a wonderful holiday is planned too. Take care.
Enjoy your vacation!
Haven't been here for awhile. Obviously you've moved. Looks like a serene, peaceful environment. Hope your Italian vacation is wonderful!
That mountain top reminds me of Sátor Hegy. That's a lovely summer house.
This looks like a lovely and relaxing place to get away. Just the kind of place I would like. Enjoy!
What a lovely place to spend some time. And to follow there, with more holidays. Lucky you!!! :-)

I think, Sam, our cat is glad it's spring...We found a mole at the back door yesterday...He's not been hunting in a while. Enjoyed the photos!! Cathy
