Taste of Indonesia
A charming little restaurant in Buda, is close to some businesses, a major hospital and public transportation. It is a serene island with an atmosphere of a place far away. Its owner is a former singer from Indonesia who is now married to a Hungarian and exchanged the place of wonder for strange Budapest. Love, they say, is blind.

Oh my goodness!!! Is that snow? ...already???
wow
: )
Did you post this before? I seem to remember those nifty statues at the door :)
Hello Isadora. Sorry I have not been by for a while. I have been busy with my mother as well as cleaning up her rental house so that we can move in. It was an absolute mess.
Some of the best restaurants are the little out-of-the-way places that not a lot of people know about.
Take care and have a great week.

Très jolie phototo avec des couleurs mignonnes... Les statues sont belles.
Il faudra que je le visite en vrai Ton pays...
Buddha in Buda...Ü
they also say :"love gives wings", so why not to fly to Hungaria?..
Love the orange - just glows, doesn't it!
I had the same reaction as ocm. You have snow already!? It looks like a neat restaurant. I can't say I've ever had Indonesian food before. I'll have to try it some day!
What a great photo!! and loved reading the post.
Nice to see it so prominently and stylishly named. Back in the mid-90s, it seemed that so many restaurants didn't have a name, or didn't post it outside.
oooops! It is quite possible that I've shown it before. I go there to pick up frozen shrimp that the restaurant brings in from Vienna. With Kata here, we've already gone through 3 kg. yupp, that's about 6 pounds, and no, we don't get tired of it.
I like the owner and like the place so I probably took a photo again.
We are beginning a 4 day holiday in Hungary, today is the anniversary of the 1956 uprising. You do the math, I was 6 years old and began school in September and by October it was finished for us. :(
How quaint! Hope the food it good!
