WestEnd City Center

The longest and most narrow shopping mall in Budapest. It does have its merits as it is in the middle of downtown next to the Western Railroad Station and boasts a terrific roof garden with a variety of possible activities (hot air balloon rides, pick-nick, ice-skating in the winter)

I have to admit, this place frightens me. It is HUGE!!!! Massive-enormous!

But you're right, the view from up top is amazing!

I just don't think of Budapest having anything that looks like this... it reminds me of the malls here in the US.

I'm all for that rooftop skating, though! :-)

It is the roof that I visit IF I visit it at all. Why go to a mall that looks and feels exactly like those in the US when you are in Budapest? Just don't get it. :)
