If It's Wednesday, It Must be Doors
The door here is almost an excuse, what I had hoped to convey was the mood. Yes, we are still in Rome and this little 'alley' is along side of the Spanish Steps where you can come up to the top in a less crowded fashion with some colorful spots along the way. There is a wine bar, a restaurant and fine porcelain shop at the top.
The intimacy of the small alley, the curves, the steps and certainly not lastly, the colors of the buildings that glow like melted gold in sunlight.

What a beautiful little alley! Hope you are enjoying yourself :)
So beautiful. The colours - fabulous. You certainly did convey the mood. A beautiful little street.
Its a lovely setting and the door makes a great focal point. I really like the building.
It's a beautiful gritty door.
I was thinking of 'your' doors on my way home from work (trying to beat the snow). I thought of you and how to best keep you in prayer...and wha-la...you posted a door!
I hope your trip is absolutely fab!!
: )
Haa! being in Roma in winter....how lucky you are! Enjoy and take a lot of pictures!
It's a nice door, but the building looks like it needs some repainting although the color is quite eye-catching.
The colour and the texture are amazing. You have captured the beauty of the place
