Theme Day - Circles

Being in the middle of Europe there are a number of countries that surround Hungary. Some of these countries are, as is Hungary, members of the EU but have not yet adopted the Euro as their official currency.

For my circles I've emptied my pocket of the Zloty (from a trip to Warsaw), Sk from Slovakia, Kc from Prague, Euro from Rome, a dime from the US and domestic Hungarian coin samples. Let's see the interpretations of others for this theme day - have fun!

In the present climate I wonder which is worth the most?!

Good choice for theme day :)

Wonderful interpretation for theme day. Who doesn't like money!

All of that money. Does this mean you are now rich?

I still have some Hungarian money from 1997. I think when I left, one egg cost 11 forint. I don't think my coins and bills would get me from the airport to downtown anymore.

Nice choice.

I came to Budapest once, in 1991, with a school trip! I remember a truly beautiful town where I would love to return. I remember the Hungarian and the Gerbaud cafés...

bonne idée de nous présenter la monnaie de ton pays, cela pourrait faire aussi un bon thème.
good idea of introducing us the currency of your country, it could make a good topic also.

It is a very timely choice given the present monetary situation.

Don't you get confused with so many different kinds of currency?

I also posted coins, but only of the Philippines. And not shiny new ones like these, but much used and grungy looking. ;D

Happy theme day!

My daughter would like a coin collection like that - lots of "gold."

Did you really have all those coins in your pocket? ;-)

Good and funny idea for circle interpretation. Even if I know that euros are very practical, I liked when we had all different moneys, it was one of the pleasure of discovering the country.

OK: money makes the cities go around!

Coins are always fascinating. I've always wanted to make a necklace of coins I have from travelling, but I often wonder how respectful that would be?
