Longer Days
Just light enough still to make out some more of the functional and homely development at what used to be the edge of Budapest. The area is being developed with office buildings and shopping centers. Alas, that is what I'm here for - no, not for shopping as I keep mumbling how much I hate IKEA and the way they force you to visit all of their departments. It is for the Swedish Meatball dinner that I came. The only place in Budapest where it is available and occasionally, it is a 'gotta have' item. MMMMMmmmm, good!

I love your irony...
And will we get a picture of your Swedish Meatball dinner? You can't not show us, after telling us. And getting our mouths watering. ,-)

Yes I love the Swedish meatballs, sauce, and jam too plus the cake! Haha. I take the kids to Ikea to play and eat...Are you also able to buy the food for take home? Here, we buy them packed so we can later on cook them!
Sorry that you don't like Ikea, most of our stuff at home which we needed immediately are from Ikea coz they deliver the fastest among other furniture stores! =) TC!
I've never been to Ikea but I'd love to go. I think there is one in Atlanta. The meatball dinner sounds delicious!
I have actually made a trip from Serbia to go to the IKEA in Budapest! Well that and eat some ghoulash. :)
I have never been to an IKEA store. They have Swedish meatballs?
We all have IKEA around - and sometimes we are glad we do. It may not be the fanciest shop in town, but they deliver!
And then, of course, there is the meatballs...
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Is that anything like Wal-Mart?
I so wish we had IKEA when I was starting out buying furniture but now I Don't need it so much, it is a very big store---- glad you enjoy there food
I totally agree with you on joy i have found throughout my life that joy comes through service to others and to God
That is a bonus. After you have worn yourself out walking the millions of miles inside of the IKEA to get to the meatballs, they are a hearty reward! However, we don't have IKEA in the state of Colorado. Yikes! Wish we did, though.
We have an Ikea about 30 minutes away and I love to go there. I've not had their swedish meatballs but I have had their cinnamon rolls and they are yummy.
