A Young Cowboy
The little ones have the opportunity to sit on the back of horses brought to the park for this purpose. Parents walk along for their own feeling of security. Behind the horses is the fenced in 'pool' of the summer pond that gives a moat look to the Vajdahunyad castle, allows people to paddle boat and during the winter a part of it is made into an ice skating rink that we will also see later.

That's cute - looks like a lot of people out enjoying the day.
Some day I'll get up the nerve to post a picture of myself in my Cowboy Outfit, lol.
There nothing like a walk in the part...on foot or horseback. Lovely pic...have a great weekend! Cathy
oh that's very nice and peaceful! that's one of the things i would definitely love to do on a weekend someday.
I remember taking our kids a pony ride like that at about that same size. Shame of it is, they don't remember any of it.

Awwww.
That's so sweet, Isadora!
Pony rides! I remember those and how delightful they were. It's best to wear a cowboy hat for the full experience:) Did you get a ride?
Walking along is surely much more secure... ;)
Thanks for your comment at Blogtrotter. As far as the Splendido is concerned, it must be said it is a once in a lifetime experience… Just hear the music at their site and you’re done… One day! ;))
I’m still posting on Sofia; what a lovely name…
Have a great week!

What a great idea for the kids to have the joy of riding on a horse and what a beautiful serene place to be
That is nice to offer horsey rides for the kids. From your picture, the family looks like they are spending quality time together.
Looks like a nice place for a family visit.
