Meet you under the clock

Although this is not THE 'date clock' in Budapest - this too is a lovely place to meet your date. The building that you see only the edge of is shown below in (almost) in it's entirety. The street level was whisked away by the passing cars so I've simply omitted it.

Thank you for visiting. I was happy.
I'm helping my sister. We are twins.

I enlarged the building to see the two statues. I wonder what they represent and also what is the whirly looking thing in the left of the picture?

Ahhhh, one of those 'special places' in your city. :-) The clock.

And I agree with Dot's question, about the statues. They seem to be holding some sort of text or maybe, lights? And I think the 'whirly thing' is a light post. Maybe...

Also, Re: your comment in my blog... I'm not familiar with the Blues Alley in DC.

Folks, how embarrassing is this? Posting a photo and not knowing much of anything about its history. Don't know what those statues are holding but the whirly thing on the post is, as Mari-Nanci said, is a lamp post with 4 lights. Give me a little credit, please :)
