There is a new 'fast food' restaurant in town called Vapiano's. After several visits I still can't decide whether or not I like it. You must stand in line with a tray and order your pasta, pizza or salad then get your drink(s) - while you present the plastic card at each post and they electronically charge your purchase on it. On your way out the card is read and you pay for your food.
It is a fresh, nice looking place - they have good food and wonderful wines, but it is difficult to have a conversation when someone must stay at the table saving the seat while the other goes to pick up food. So it is a mixed blessing. I do enjoy the fresh pots of rosemary and basil they have on the tables along with oils and vinegar.

It does look very nice and friendly.
Sounds like the restaurant has cafeteria stype dining, which were extremely popular here in the US 40+ years ago.
The decorations are gorgeous though.
I was going to ask if the plants in the top picture was the salad bar.
It seems to be a nice and cousy place to have a meal and relax a little bit wish friends.
As for your question on my blog, that´s a photo taken by me. You can see the castle today just like that.
It seems to have a warm atmosphere but maybe is distracting because of the complicated order system. It does indeed sound like a cafeteria. The ones I remember do have very good food. Good day to you and thank you for the view. Cathy

With so many plants, I thought it was a vegetarian restaurant until I read your post. It sounds like a fun place to eat.

Actually, the food is unlike a fast food restaurant. Pasta is in pre-measured packages and cooked for you while you wait, pizza - of course, and your salad is prepared in a huge bowl and transferred into an attractive serving bowl while you watch.
They also have a surprisingly good wine list at a reasonable price - 8 oz of dry Italian wine is 700 Huf (170 Huf = $1)

I love Vapiano. The food is very very good as it is fresh pasta made in front of you. The price is a bit too high but it is very good quality.
the fresh herbs are such a cool idea! I like the decor too
