Shall we ride?

This is the entrance of the yellow underground - the oldest on the continent of Europe - at the Oktogon, heading toward Szechenyi baths. The thought of being up to your ears in hot water (indoors or outdoors) sounds tempting.

I really like the sign and find the words "Mexikói út felé" lovingly amusing. :)

Enjoy the thermal bath if you end up going to Szechenyi.

:) It means toward Mexico St. (which is the end of the line for that direction) I'm thinking of going, but then so many of my plans go only that far (thinking stage) Movies now seem less work :) But first, the 'piac' much like the Italian market, to get fruits and veggies for the week. Have a good one Fenix, glad to have you back.

It sounds like fun, where I live (Jackson, Mississippi) used to have Thermal Baths and Showers, but we paved them over in the 1960's. I would love to go and see what it's like.

It must be freezing out there.
Interesting piece of information.
Nice sign. I like it's classic look.

The first underground in Europe! Interesting. I've never thought of... who were the first brave people, to believe they _could_ do such a thing?!?
