Sunday in the Park

Had dinner with a friend last night and walked by the park - it looked so pretty I thought I'd make an attempt to show it to you. I've photographed this park before when it still had flowers and foliage - quite different from now.

Your Castle pictures lookz much different from the ones I posted; amazing how snow can change everything...
The Park at night doesn't seem that appealing...
Have some Pest pictures for you at Blogtrotter. Would love to have your comments. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

I guess one can always have a walk in the park... there was some disco song that went something like "a walk in the park, a kiss in the dark..." .

Like the lights - at night everything takes on an appearance of mystery with wonderful shadows everywhere. Over here it wouldn't be safe to walk in a park at night no matter how well lit.

Very evocative.

Thankfully, Budapest parks are still safe. You do have to know the city however, as the park behind hero's square is frequented by male prostitutes and clients - or so I hear.

This park is in the middle of town and is safe with the Le Meridien and the Kempinski hotels as neighbors.

Quint :) You are thinking about Anne Murray's song:
Think about things, like a walk in the park;
things, like a kiss in the dark;
things, like a sailboat ride;
what about them nights we cried;
Things like a lover's vow
things that we don't do now
Thinkin' about the things we used to do.

You guys are fortunate that I don't know how to do sound, or else you would hear my Anne Murray imitation. :)

that is pretty, with all the winter trees and lighting.
