Khmm.....and the same to you?

This monstrosity was parked along the sidewalk where the crane (from yesterday) was being set up. Yes, the sheer size would have been worth photographing, but it was what I saw in the window that made me do it. Don't know about you, but if I saw that in my rear view mirror, I'd get out of the way. :)

My goodness but this is REALLY blue. Isadore, are you the one who asked me about my post on Mazatlan? If so, the answer is Picasa, a google program. Very easy to use. Any more questions? Just send me an email which is listed on my profile.

Hi Kate - yes, I did ask, but if it is Picasa I'll skip it. For some reason, I simply don't get that program. Tried before and ended up abandoning the blog because I simply could not get the photos where and in the way I wanted.

Blue was just one of the things. I thought the whole thing was a hoot - the giant sized vehicle and giant size hand gesture - it just resonated.

That's fantastic!

The automatic finger, you gotta love it.

I'm dying to hear what the deleted comments were.

OH THANK YOU OSWEGAN for restoring my faith. I thought it was funny too. Some people take offense and I simply don't believe in keeping anything negative around.

I've been thinking of sticking one of those to the the back window together with a sign that reads: "If you can see this, you are TAILGATING me, you *#&@ jerk. Back off!"

As a Californian driver, we are quite familiar with that gesture. I guess it's a universal sign no matter where you are. I guess if you drive a big blue truck, you can keep the gesture up and no one will challenge you.

That is what was so funny - the sheer size - it startled me when I turned around after taking a photo of the crane. Then the hand in the window - like, who would dare say anything or even think of challenging it? Don't know, it just struck me as very funny. But then, only this week I was the one who volunteered this list to my colleagues who were actually sitting around attempting to interpret the meaning of the word as used by their opponent in the negotiations.

Thank you all for visiting and for being an equally good sport.

Ou va le modernisme, un doigt automatique...pas très cool tout cela ;o) Fonzie ne serait pas content (il repasse 'Happy Days' en ce moment à la télévision française ;o) )

Or will modernism, a finger automatic ... not very cool ;o) Fonzie would not be content (he returns' Happy Days' at this moment in the French TV ;o) )
