Museum of ElectroTechnics

Looks like a pretty bleak building, and I've no idea what it is that they would exhibit there but the light fixtures looked very serious on this narrow little 7th district street.

Always love to see your pictures. The museum, I don't think I've visited, but your picture of the tree of life is much better than mine...
Have a great weekend!

The light fixtures on the building are quite nice. I also like the bas relief above the doorway. If you ever make it inside and find out what they exhibit, please let us know. Have a pleasant Sunday.

A pretty elegant looking edifice. Very nice. It definitely has character. Lights almost look like art deco (?) Thanks.

Interesting fixtures, but what are those posters all about?

I was wondering about the posters also. Maybe you can visit inside and give us "the rest of the story"!

Thank you for your comments in my daily photo blog.

You asked a question, concerning an entry of mine in my photo blog... The building shown, now belongs to the bank next door. So it is used as offices. This bank is the white marble building with the very large wreath on the front.

I too like the bas relief and wonder what it symbolizes. I also wonder what the museum exhibits.

Oooh, what a beautiful Art Deco building, Isadora.
Those bronze lamps are fabulous!

this has shades of charle rennie mackintosh art style, of glasgow fame - art deco-ish as someone has already pointed out.
