Birds, Birds - them there are real birds

A while ago Fenix ran photos from Boston where there were birds on just one of the roofs in the neighborhood. It was amusing to see the same thing happening here. Don't you wonder what differentiates one roof from the other for these wise and discriminating animals? I certainly do. :)

Love the rooftops but feel sorry for the person who has to clean them ;) - but like the real birds a bit more than the sculpted ones.

Oh that is a lot of birds, wonder how they will clean all that bird poop off of there. Great shot

Wonder if any of you had visited Fenix post back in early December when she had depicted one house in the neighborhood that was covered with pigeons and none on the other rooftops. That is what I was thinking when I saw these rooftops and the same thing here! What must be the difference??

They probably sense that the owner of the roof is 'friendly' to birds.

Isadora,
thanks for your stop over on my blog. The travel of 3,000 miles was only one month, we left the week before the end of sept and came back in Oct.
Happy New Year to you

it might be that, because of poor insulation, some roofs are warmer than others and therefore more attractive to our feathered friends's tootsies?
